We also want to acknowledge the challenges you face while continuing your work and studies during these turbulent times. We have curated a quick and high-level list of resources here, but we also encourage you to use the search engine below to find additional resources from our vast network of valued partners. Helps to increase resiliency, strength, and optimism to relieve symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD
Moodtools
FREE, Depression resource, provides psychoeducation, a depression symptom questionnaire (PHQ-9), a thought diary, a suicide safety plan, and videos designed to combat negative thoughts and alleviate feelings of hopelessness
Moodkit
Useful for both anxiety and depression, the skills taught include self-monitoring, identifying and changing unhealthy thought patterns, and engaging in mood-enhancing activities
Headspace
Applied to both anxiety and depression, teaches skills including mindfulness, and cognitive diffusion, breathing exercises, meditation practice, tips for increased relaxation, concentration

Bruin MindFit
Bruin MindFit is a hands-on mindful movement and meditation course that teaches several effective stress management tools and is offered to faculty and staff at no cost. Bruin MindFit participants practice meditation, breathing (pranayama), basic yoga movement, relaxation, walking, and everyday mindfulness.
UCLA Health’s Mindfulness Education Center (MARC)
UCLA Mindful, the mindfulness education center at UCLA Health, is dedicated to advancing mindfulness education to promote individual and cultural well-being and resilience world-wide.
MARC Mindfulness Toolkit
This toolkit will offer basic guidance about what mindfulness is, how it is practiced, and how you may bring mindfulness resources to your division, department, center, and beyond.
Bruin Resource Center (BRC)
The Bruin Resource Center (or the BRC as we call it) is the home for a number of campus centers and programs that provide support to different student communities including students who have been part of the foster care and probation systems, students who are undocumented or a part of mixed-status families, parenting students and students who are taking care of other dependents such as siblings, students in recovery, students who were formerly incarcerated or impacted by the carceral system and students who have experienced houselessness.
