Biography
I am a general internist at UCLA and teach medical students, residents and fellows the practice and art of Medicine. I’ve been a UCLA faculty member for over 30 years, focusing my career on teaching and research to enhance the ethical practice of medicine and ensuring that patients receive the care to achieve their goals. As chair of the Ronald Reagan -UCLA ethics committee, I have helped to develop policies and educational programs to provide guidance and enrich the ethics of the clinical environment.
I am originally from Los Angeles (born at Kaiser Sunset) and went to school at UC Davis where I learned to love cabernet and syrah. I have been at UCLA since medical school because this is a great place to practice medicine, do research and teach.
