Biography

Dr. Markeith Royster (he/him/his) is a lifelong educator with passion. A former foster youth from PG County, Maryland. Markeith is a proud HBCU graduate (Norfolk State University). Markeith aims to support those from underrepresented populations in finding value in their authentic selves. He has a Doctorate Of Education in Educational Psychology from USC. Markeith currently serves at the Bruin Resource Center as the Director Bruin Guardian Scholars Academy where he works with an amazing team to support high school foster with growth, development, and college access. Outside of work, Markeith is a lover of music / vinyls and the Washington Wizards, Mystics, & Commanders; win or lose he’s loyal to his home area.
