Beyond academics, Alette works as a mentor and Program Director for the transfer mentorship MC2UCLA program. Her volunteer work—Disability Notetaker at UCLA’s Center for Accessible Education, Alumni Scholars Club tutor, Audubon Society Christmas Bird Count participant, and Medical Assistant at the Westminster Free Clinic—illustrates her steadfast commitment to service. Alette has also worked as an EMT for special events like the Hollywood Bowl, and currently works as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Pacific Heart Institute, continuing to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
