Mindfulness Awareness is the moment-by-moment process of actively and openly observing one’s physical, mental and emotional experiences. Mindfulness has scientific support as a means to reduce stress, improve attention, boost the immune system, reduce emotional reactivity, and promote a general sense of health and well-being.
The weekly “drop-in” sessions are led by Barbara Demman, RN, MSN, ACNP, CNS or other guest teachers from the UCLA Mindfulness Awareness Research Center TMF Program.
Open to anyone interested in learning how to ‘live more presently’ in life and reduce stress. All are invited.
If you have any questions please email Barbara Demman, bdemman@sonnet.ucla.edu
