Director of UCLA Recreation, MoveWell Pod Co-Leader
Erinn McMahan is the Director of UCLA Recreation, which provides extensive access to a broad range of recreational activities and services. Erinn’s current Director role brings together his extensive experience in university administration, facility and program management, and coaching. For 10 years, Erinn also served as the Program Director for the Marina Aquatic Center (MAC), UCLA Recreation’s boating facility. There, he initiated several new programs, including free student kayaking, which now attracts over 3,000 UCLA student participants a year and introduces many to basic boating safety principles. Prior to leading the MAC, Erinn was the head coach of the UCLA Men’s Rowing team for 10 years, where he reinvigorated the team and built it into one of the West Coast’s premier club programs, culminating with a medal at the PAC-10 Championships.
