How can I get involved?

There are many opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to get involved with Semel HCI Center across campus. Students, please visit the Get Involved section of the students page. Staff & Faculty, please visit the Get Involved section of the Staff & Faculty page. All are welcome to attend any event listed on our calendar.

Who can attend pod meetings?

Anyone! Please visit our schedule of pod meetings for details on upcoming pod meetings.

What is LiveWell?

LiveWell is the nickname of Semel Healthy Campus Initiative Center at UCLA. We encourage you to join the campuswide wellness movement and make a personal commitment to wellness!

What are pods?

We call our seven subcommittees “pods:” BEWell, BreatheWell, EatWell, EngageWell, MindWell, MoveWell, and ResearchWell. Each pod focuses on a specific aspect of wellbeing on UCLA’s campus. Visit each pod page to learn more!

Who can receive HCI seed funding?

  • For our student group funding, all applicants must be SOLE registered groups. Applications only accepted during fall quarter.
  • For staff & faculty, any UCLA staff or faculty who want to promote health and well-being on campus can apply.
