Free: Intro to Meditation with teacher-trainees from UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center
11:00 am to 8:00 pm
Learn what mindfulness is, how to practice it, and how you can incorporate it into life to relieve stress and create more well-being.
Mindful awareness can be defined as paying attention to present moment experiences with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to be with what is. Mindfulness has scientific support as a means to reduce stress, improve attention, boost the immune system, reduce emotional reactivity, and promote a general sense of health and well-being.
Sessions are taught by teacher-trainees from our certification program. We will offer lectures and experiential practices to help you learn the basics of mindfulness.
Come by any time. No need to register, just show up.
